star city - arts council award

Arts Council England are funding Richard to visit Moscow and the Star City cosmonaut training centre from April 23rd - 30th 2010. Star City is a once-secret base just outside Moscow which is home to the Russian space programme. The trip is part of the research process for Kosmonaut Zero and you can follow Richard via Twitter as he visits key locations around the city. new novel - title announced and opening chapters coming soon

Richard's new novel is entitled Kosmonaut Zero. It is set in the Soviet Union in 1968 and is the story of Marina Mernova, a KGB agent with an unusual destiny. The opening chapters will be featured in an anthology of new work published by Dog Horn in spring 2010.
